Thank you for visiting the Luttrell Barn! Over 110 years ago this old barn was built to house livestock, tack and feed. It was a landmark in the northwest corner of Colorado. After 75 years in its original location new life for a new purpose was breathed into the barn. It was moved from where it was built to where it currently sits. For 30 more years the barn was busy with theatrical events, art galleries and community events. The barn eventually fell into disrepair and was in danger of being torn down. Several years passed while community members worked to save the Luttrell Barn. In 2016 the barn was saved! The Luttrell Barn Cultural Center Foundation received their 501 (c) (3) Charitable Organization designation in 2017 and after months of repairs and clean up the barn was reopened for community use! |

 The photo above shows the Luttrell Barn in its original location on Washington Street just prior to being moved to its new home on Emerson street near the Moffat County Fairgrounds. |
Saving the Barn!
 After falling into disrepair the Luttrell Barn was in danger of being torn down. It was no longer safe for public use and in need of a new roof and upgrades to make it safe once again. The Luttrell Barn Cultural Center committee was formed and was able purchase the barn and enter into a long term land lease with Moffat County to save the barn. The committee was able to raise the funds to repair the roof and once again make the barn safe for public use. |

Now OPEN!
The Luttrell Barn is NOW OPEN once again for community use! The Luttrell Barn Cultural Center can be rented for public and private events by contacting Sue Lewis at 970-757-BARN (2276). |
